Reddit marketing tools, compared honestly
Most Reddit tools help you comment in other people's threads. Subgrow runs a subreddit your brand owns. Here is how each one works, whose account does the posting, and what a month costs, with every fact linked to the page we read it on. Where a rival is the better choice, we say so.
The tools at a glance
| Tool | How it works | Which account posts | Entry price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Subgrow | One answer a day in your own subreddit, each aimed at a Google search | Your brand's own Reddit account, which we open and run for you | $99 a month, everything included |
| ReddGrow | AI-answer tracking plus agents that comment in existing threads and write for other channels | Your own Reddit account, through its Chrome extension (pricing page); the homepage also mentions warmed-up accounts | $99 a month, or $79 billed yearly |
| Bazzly | Autopilot comments, posts and upvotes from its warmed-up accounts, in credits | Its warmed-up accounts, or yours through its extension | $199 a month for 170 credits |
| Redreach | Finds threads and drafts replies; you post them from your own account | You, from your own account | $19 a month (Startup) |
| Redship | Daily thread shortlist and reply suggestions; you post | You, from your own account | $29 a month (Founder) |
| ReplyGuy | Automated replies across Reddit and X; Reddit replies from purchased accounts | On Reddit, purchased accounts it emails to you | $49 a month for 100 credits |
The difference that matters most isn't in a feature list. It's whether you rent space in other people's threads or build threads you own. We wrote that up on its own: your own subreddit vs commenting tools.

Questions people ask
- What kinds of Reddit marketing tools are there?
- Four kinds. Monitors tell you when a keyword is mentioned. Thread finders also draft a reply you post yourself. Posting tools place comments for you, from your account or from accounts they provide. And Subgrow runs a subreddit your brand owns, posting a full answer there every day.
- Which Reddit marketing tools are safe to use?
- The risk follows the account. Tools where you post from your own account, or where your brand posts as itself, carry the ordinary risk of a moderator removing a post. Tools that post from bought or warmed-up accounts recommend you without saying who's paying, the kind of thing moderators remove as spam. Upvote services and mass unsolicited DMs are against Reddit's rules outright (vote manipulation, spam).
- Is GummySearch still available?
- No. It stopped taking new customers in November 2025 and shuts down on December 1, 2026 (GummySearch). Syften, Octolens and F5Bot cover the monitoring side.
